    Then there were four!

Today we are a family of four!

Joseph Kyle Mathis was born on Dec 6
    7lb 3oz
    20in

God has blessed us with another child and Joey is wonderful. I'm posting pictures and will post more soon. Elizabeth and I (especially Elizabeth ;) are very tired and very happy.

Please pray: Joey has fluid in his lungs so the are keeping him in the nursery at the hospital tonight. He should be fine but we are anxious to hold him.

Thank you for your prayers and God bless,
    David

    Almost one year old

Andy is almost one year old!!

This has been a wonderful year. God has stretched us and blessed us tremendously. Andy is now crawling around at full speed and looking more and more like he's going to start walking.

    More pictures posted. Enjoy!

    New Teeth!!!

Andy has cut his first teeth! The bottom middle two are now visible. We had a couple of rough nights without much sleep but now Andy is back to his normal self.

I posted some pictures where you can see his teeth coming in.

    Back from vacation

Finally, more pictures! Sorry to everyone who has been checking for updates - it's been a while. Andy is three weeks old already! Time is flying!

We just got back from Andy's first vacation to Kernville. Weather was beautiful and we had a great time relaxing. No phone coverage or internet access... it was great!

BTW, thank you to everyone who brought us dinner the first two weeks. We so appriciate your love and support.

Two more slide shows posted. Enjoy!

    Father's Day

    What a wonderful father's day!

Andy is starting to look around more. Also spending more time awake.

Two family parties before he's four days old! Welcome to the family son :) . Looking forward to this week to really settle in and not do too much.

Thank you everyone for all your love and support.

    Getting settled

Last night we only had to be up a few times to feed Andy. (I use the term 'we' loosely, I'm afraid I wasn't much use for Elizabeth.) Still a little tired. Andy is doing great. That boy can sure put away 2oz like it's nothing!

Kendra and boys stopped by this evening with dinner. Thank you!

    A few more pictures posted.

I added a link to this page from http://davidnliz.com so it's much easier than trying to remember the long address for this page.
